Biography

 

 

Born in Malta, 1960. Ray is a mature student at the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology. He enrolled at the

College in 2012 to study Fine Arts. When he was younger,

he worked as an architect assistant and later he formed a

Construction Company in which he served as a Director.

 

Between 1997 and 2005 he studied at the School of Fine Arts

in Valletta and obtained a Diploma in Fine Arts. He has since

participated in various collective exhibitions.

 

 

Axaiq has an 'anfinity' with the local landscape and interprets mundane scenes into bold vibrant, colourist blocks that are filled with the emotion and the speed of the work.
