Description of Artwork

The painting depicts the beautiful silent city of Mdina in surreal surroundings. Imagining Mdina as an island on it's own, away from commotion and today's pollution, instead situated in an unknown place, which one has to look for and maybe never find.

The work also portrays Mdina in a different reality which differs from the usual paintings of this beautiful city - use Maltese architecture and places in a surreal painting.
