In his paintings he expresses the colours hidden within the shadows, and portrays the emotions embedded within a space - and the glow within an individual. Concurrently he experiments with concrete sculptures using flexible formwork creating ‘expanding’ volumes as sensory experiences.

The portrait is an inner expression of where I am right now. I am backlit with my face in the shadow.
The space is in transition left to right, from dark to light.
Kaleidoscopic heightened colour tones like a heat sensor expressing my thoughts and feelings, as well as my environment reflecting colours on my skin.
Contour mapping my face joining green, red, blue and pink zones of my face. Focusing on colour, yet interrupted by reflective golden surfaces layered within the painting. Like footprints in the snow, raw brush strokes are evidence of my movement across the canvas.
