Aquilina always sought for inspiration from various old masters and contemporary artists to enhance and improve his own original style.  His preferred medium is acrylics and his subject focuses on the human form. 

Aquilina is proud to present his work for the first time, in this group exhibition entitled ‘SELFIE’.

The challenge of doing a self-portrait was not an easy task till I decided how to go about it.
However, once I decided to start the work, the execution came very natural and the final result was very spontaneous.
The challenge of making my own self-portrait, made me look at my work with different eyes and appreciate my work even more.
